Bio for Ron Spielman:
The music scene in Berlin has on and off new discoveries to offer and not seldom treasures of unbelievible kind. Ron Spielman's vocals and guitar playing is rooted between Soul, classical R&B, some kind of Country, Folk and nevertheless a good portion of Jazz.
His live appearance and strong articulate voice can prove his unlimited talent everytime. Ron has played music now for over 20 years and plus but still, the german-american is being treated as the best kept musical secret living in Berlin.
Bio for Jesse Miliner:
Jesse is a young lion with great potential in the future, one of the most talented keyboarders I have met." says US Jazz great Bobby Stern.
Jesse started playing the piano already at a very young age and received a scholarship to study piano, composition & arrangment at the Manhattan School of Music, NYC.
While studying he had a chance to work with musicians like David Liebman and Bob Mintzer. For the latter he also wrote a suite to be performed by Mintzer's Big Band at the famous Carnegie Hall in Manhattan in 2006. After his "master studies" he moved to Miami to complete his education with a Phd degree in compostion & arrangment at the "University of Miami", while teaching master classes there.
Thanks to an offer of the "Universty of Mainz" for the position as head of the Jazz department we are lucky to have him back in Germany.
Bio for Florian Truebsbach:
Florian was born as the son of a musician and started playing the violin in the age of 3. Later he joined the Toelzer Boys Choir in Munich under which he performed under conductors like Herbert von Karajan, Claudio Abbado and Lorin Maazel in countries like Israel, Italy and Japan.
In his adolescence he started to play the saxophone and performed with the National Youth Orchestra as well as the Youth Jazz Orchestra of Germany under the guidance of Peter Herbholzheimer. Additionally he started taking lessons in compositon with Hans Werner Henze.
After he finished his high school diploma he continued his jazz studies and took classes for five more semesters in classical composition at the "University of Hamburg". Florian played among others with the Munich Saxophone Family, Rias Big Band, the EBU Jazz Orchestra and Bill Holman. In 2000 he received the "Bavarian State Award for Young Artists".
Bio for Ron Jenkins:
Bassist Ron Jenkins is from Hampton, Va. He received his B.A. in Music from Virginia Commonwealth University. Since arriving in New York Ron has performed around the world with some of the music industries top talent. Anita Baker, Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Cher, Cindi Lauper, Will Downing, Bill Evans, Chuck Loeb and Jeff Golub are just some of them. When these artists want a real foundation to stand on they call a true Low End Specialist. Bassist Ron Jenkins is known for setting the runway for these and many other artists to take off from and soar to their creative peaks.
He traveled trough diffrent countries as bass teacher as well as conductor for ensembles of Bret Will-mot (Berklee College of Music, USA). For the past three years he has played with the rock legend ?Birth Control". At the moment he is a member of the RTL-Allstars Band with which he is traveling throughout Europe.
